Generation 3

G3 and G3.5 span from 2003 to 2009 for standard releases, with special edition event exclusive ponies released in 2010 and 2011.

In 2009, the line was rebooted with the "Core 7" character concept in a more juvenile style, referred to on product packaging as "New Look." Newborn Cuties, which are the Core 7 characters as babies, were also part of the new style. This new look remained in place until the end of the generation.

G3 has MANY, MANY reissues of the same character with slight variations. If there is no change to the hair color or pattern, the pony will not be relisted.
